General Manager Position

The job of the General Manager is a very vital role in maintaining the operation and success of the company. It requires professionalism, time commitment, attention to detail, resourcefulness, planning and organization.  

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The General Manager is responsible for maintaining and managing ALL daily operations of the company including, but not limited to, the following: 

  • Hiring / Training: Must maintain a full staff of drivers at all times. All drivers will report directly to you for questions or assistance. 
  • Scheduling: Ensure that shifts are covered as much as possible. 
  • Payroll: Process weekly sales, make cash deposits, verify driver sales submissions and process driver payout checks each week.
  • Accounts Receivable & Payable: Ensure all utilities and monthly bills / vendors are paid and process all payments made to Joyride. Must learn and be competent in QuickBooks.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, sororities, fraternities and all other student organizations. 
  • Cart sponsorship and advertising including sales, production, campaigns, promotions, events and client relations. 
  • Manage and create custom services including, but not limited to: tours, special events, campus life, gamedays, greek parties & events, private rentals, etc.
  • Maintain and continually develop a successful marketing, promotional and social media programs that’s professional and meets the core values of Joyride.
  • Manage all company tools, assets, online & mobile applications to ensure maximum operational efficiency.
  • Maintain cart operations & maintenance to ensure carts meet safety standards for use at all times.
  • Maintain professional behavior at all times that represents the core values of Joyride.
